Specific motifs were used to indicate virtues or attributes of the wearer, or relate to the season or occasion such as weddings and festivals where it bestows good fortune on the wearer. I felt very lucky all put together properly in my kimono. This was an amazing experience. Sayoko made me feel very comfortable as she explained the many layers of the kimono. The Kimono was absolutely beautiful and authentic. Sayoko also has one of a kind umbrellas you can choose from and the footwear is also included! Sayoko taught me several Japanese traditions we used at the shrine. She knows all the best spots and took a lot of amazing photos! You get all the photos the same day as well!
