Chase the Aurora! This night time snowmobile tour combines the best of both worlds: snowmobiling and Aurora viewing! The Aurora Sleighers tour is operated in the beautiful Goldstream Valley located about 15 minutes North of Fairbanks and is the perfect location for unobstructed Aurora viewing! The tour runs from 10PM to 2AM and covers the best time when the Aurora is most active! Throughout the tour we will cruise beneath the night sky on the snowmobiles, and we will break along the way at multiple vantage points to view the scenery and enjoy the night sky. If the Aurora are dancing at any point during our tour we will stop, pull over, turn off the engines, and enjoy the tranquility of the peace and quiet while being amazed by the Aurora! Don’t forget to dress warm, and bring your cameras and tripods!

SO MUCH FUN!!!! What an epic idea to pair northern lights hunting with snow machines!!!! My partner and I loved this experience so much! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the northern lights this time, but it definitely didn’t hamper our experience at all. Our guide was really helpful in trying to help us find an ideal night that worked with our schedule. We had originally booked a Friday night but he recommended changing to the Saturday to increase our chances of seeing the Aurora. Even though we didn’t have any luck, he was absolutely right that it was a better night to be out on the snow machines as we had clear skies and beautiful views of the moon and stars. It was great that there was the option to be a passenger if you weren’t comfortable driving. My boyfriend drove and I was the passenger on our two person snow machine. We were able to enjoy the trails together which looked like a magical winter wonderland. When we got to a clearing, everyone was able to drive as fast and as wild as they wanted to. Which was so so fun!!! We really appreciated all of the extra layers and snow gear that we were provided with. It was under -20 C on the night we went out so it was very very cold but we were well dressed and coped well in the temperatures for 2.5 hours. Such a cool experience!! Definitely recommend.Amazing no enough words to describe it. More then what I expected. Do not hesitate go for it. Dream come true thanks Lord.

Great way for five friends visiting Fairbanks to see the Lights. Our personable guide helped us put on our elaborate gear, a combo of what we brought with us supplemented by the even warmer gear they provided. None of us had ever driven snowmobiles before so we were a bit apprehensive, but we were given instructions and it was actually very easy. A great ride through the snowy night with stops at several locations to watch the light, plus some hot chocolate. Wonderful time!Surreal!!!. What an amazing experience. They supplied all the gear, the machines were very easy to operate and well maintained. While we didn’t get a super show of Northern Lights, the whole experience was one looking back on is WOW!!!! WE REALLY DID THAT!!!We had a blast! It was a beautiful, crisp and clear night and the lights came out. Spencer was an informative and conscientious guide who kept his eyes out for the lights! Would definitely recommend this tour!
