Travelled long distance from Tromsoe into Finland and the Guide/Driver finally found a place with clear sky. Saw the lights. Though weather was challenging the team really worked hard to get us a unique experience.

A good night out even though the green lady wasn't dancing particularly brightly.

During my solo trip in northern Norway, I was hoping to see some northern lights. I booked this tour with Wandering Owl. It was an amazing experience and evening. Our guide Ellie was welcoming and friendly, the whole evening was perfect and cozy. The northern lights finally showed up, it was an unforgettable moment I had the chance to experience. Now, I want to come back and definitely will :)There's just something special about sitting around a campfire with some stew and hot chocolate while surrounded by the beautiful mountains. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Norway.

We had the most beautiful night (the last one of our three nights in Tromso). Luckily the skies were crystal clear for miles, so our guide Ellie chose a particularly breathtaking spot, the fiord at Tromvik. The lights were stunning. When the aurora moved it looked like someone was painting on the sky with vertical brush strokes. :) Ellie was very passionate and happy to share her knowledge about the aurora and northern Norway, and the homemade soup and hot chocolate were delicious. Being supplied with warm shoes and thermo suits helped to keep warm. I am so thankful for the experience. :)
