Overview
We visit the Famous Alta River, take a look in the city centrum of Alta and get to know the surrounding areas. The trip takes place on both asphalted roads and in easy terrain.
Not physically challenging.
This trip is suitable for young and old and will create great adventure memories!
Transport from hotels in Alta, the docks and tourist office to start point are included.
Tour length: 4 hours.
Suitable for most without any ATV experience.
Valid driving license needed!
If you have any food allergies or health issues please let us know before the trip.
For our guests who need glasses we recommend to switch to contacts prior to the tour.

Stop At: Alta, Alta, Alta Municipality, Finnmark, Northern Norway
Experience Alta and Altaelva on ATV, on this trip you will get to know Alta and the surrounding areas.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Alta Church, Kirkeveien, Alta 9511 Norway
We take a stop and see the the Northern light cathedral.
Duration: 5 minutes
Stop At: AMFI Alta, Markedsgata 21-25, Alta 9510 Norway
We drive in the city centrum and take a look at shopping options Alta have to offer. We will only see from outside, we will not leave the ATVs.

GREAT Experience! My husband and I were experienced on ATVs but my brother and his wife have done ATV tours many times. After this tour, we all were overwhelmed with how much fun it was and all we saw. We went through town to see local sites, we went into the hills to see the awesome scenery, and we drove along dirt trails along the water. We were provided with all the warm clothes we needed so there was no issue with being cold. We even had a little snack (great food) along with river. 4 couples on an Azamara cruise, and we picked a great option in Alta! New ATVs - comfortable machines - friendly and very knowledgeable hosts (Marius and Ian) - just loads and loads of fun. My hubby is 6'7" and we still had plenty of room for me. We all said it was the best choice we made while on a 16-night cruise in Norway. No negative comments at all - only one advisory that helmets are not required in Norway so if you are used to that requirement where you live and would feel more comfortable with one, just ask them and they will provide one.Ian and Marius were excellent guides and full of local knowledge which was so interesting. The ATV’s are brand new and you felt very safe. The scenery was gorgeous and of course there were a lot of smiles. It was fun!
