This tour is a light hike that traverses through park space and trail networks through Aspen's East End and loop through the lower Hunter Creek. Guests will enjoy the natural beauty of Aspen along hidden riverside paths and quiet neighborhoods while learning a bit of Aspen's history and culture.

This is a great activity for guests that are looking to explore Aspen a bit and get a little exercise. This light hike is a moderate level of difficulty. Guests should be prepared to hike along uneven dirt and rock trails with some elevation gain.

Pass By: Wheeler Opera House, 320 E Hyman Ave, Aspen, CO 81611-1918

Tour begins from in front of the Wheeler Opera House.

Pass By: Ute Cemetery, Ute Ave., Aspen, CO

Tour passes through the Ute Cemetery which is a great example of a Colorado, Pioneer Cemetery.

Pass By: Roaring Fork River, Colorado

Tour traverses along and across the Roaring Fork River.

Pass By: Smuggler Mountain, 806 W Hallam St (Forest Service Office), Aspen, CO 81611-1166

Tour traverses along the base of Smuggler Mountain. Views of the Smuggler mine.

Pass By: Hunter Creek Trail, Red Mountain, Aspen, CO

The lower Hunter Creek Trail is a charming hike.

Pass By: The John Denver Sanctuary, near Rio Grande Park, Aspen, CO 81611

The John Denver Sanctuary connects to the park network along the Roaring Fork River.
