Overview
Visiting and working in a professional ceramics studio is a unique experience. Our artisan ceramics workshop is accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The opportunity to try your hand at this craft tradition will create a unique and memorable experience. The workshop includes sharing pottery decoration techniques and fun.

Wendy’s exhibited her work in Europe and North America, including at the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barcelona Design Museum and the American Craft Council craft shows. Her work is part of permanent museums and private collections in North America and Europe

Make Your Own Artisan Cup
Come and have fun. Learn how to hand build your very own artisan ceramic cup.
Visit our workshop, learn about ceramics and try it yourself! Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment.
What you’ll learn and what we’ll do.
You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques.
Let the fun begin.
Out come the aprons, clay and tools to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and personalise your own artisan cup.
You’ll learn skills ceramists use when sculpting by hand. After your cup is complete you will learn to texture and add decorations.
No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you.
No prior ceramics experience is necessary.
Your Finished Artisan Cup
Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. So we offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona:
Option 1: About 1 to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL.
Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your cup and select a finished handmade cup made by Taller Gingell to take home as a memory.

Beautiful experience! I took the ceramic mug making course in Barcelona, and it was very interesting and instructive. I learned to create cups in three different ways, the explanation was very clear and a familiar environment was immediately created. Thanks to various practical explanations and tips, I was able to create and decorate my first cup with my own hands and I am very happy with it. I recommend it for everyone, even as a family gathering to spend good time together. Fuimos para el cumpleaños de una amiga 6 personas. El grupo era de un total de 8. La experiencia fue superagradable. Se podría dividir en dos grandes partes. 1) En la primera te enseñan diferentes técnicas para trabajar con cerámica. 2) En la segunda con total tranquilidad te dejan libertad para que puedas utilizar la técnica que prefieras para tu taza. Finalmente, te permiten personalizarla ligeramente con un poco de pintura para darle tu toque, con lo que ya esto hace la experiencia totalmente completa. El personal super amable y atentos a cualquier duda que tuviésemos cualquiera de forma individual y personalizada.La experiencia ha sido increíble! Wendy y Eric explicaron todo muy bien, nos dedicaron mucha atención y paciencia. El ambiente fue relajado, dos horas de total desconexión y oportunidad de conectar contigo mismo y relajarse poniendo en práctica la creatividad e imaginación. Lo recomiendo al 100%.
