Arenal River Tubing Adventure and Hot Springs included
Overview
It is only 5 minutes drive from the main reception to the river canyon. Best things to do at the Arenal Volcano.
After 5 minutes walk through the forest we arrive to the Maleku Village at the botton of the Arenal River. Natives will perform a 20 minutes introduction to their culture, medice and trditions. After, we will take to tubs and hike 10 minutes till get to the river, where we will enjoy the tubing adventure and have a short briefing about security. After a short walk, we arrive at the foot of the river, where the tubing starts.

What to expect
White-water & a lot of wildlife. Navigate your adventurewith your own tube rafting 2km along the canyon of the Arenal River. It will be surrounded by extraordinary vegetation, rock formations, caves and small waterfalls where you can get wet.

En nuestra estancia en la Fortuna, decidimos aventurarnos al Tubing. Con cero experiencia pero con ganas de experimentar la adrenalina de estos lugares en Costa Rica llegamos a esta actividad. Nos acompañaron 2 guías y un fotógrafo (Sebas). Te brindan de equipo de seguridad y explicación básica para dicha actividad, durante el recorrido están al pendiente de cómo te sientes y hacen recomendaciones para mejorar tu experiencia. Tuve una caída en un rápido, pero seguí las instrucciones y no sucedió nada en absoluto. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, además de ser una actividad que difícilmente volverás a vivir, es muy segura y divertida.Eramos 2 adultos y 3 jovenes de 12-15 años y todos nos divertimos mucho, muy recomendable para las familias con chicos mas grandecitos. We did the tubing activity with Go.adventure and it was a lot of fun! Our guide Phil with his assistant Junior were wonderful and very mindful about safety. Best way to make reservations is to call them at +506 2479-0189. You’ll save a little if you pay cash in USD. You need water shoes (or similar) as you will need to walk down a dirt rocky road with your tube in hands to get to the river. The tube rafting ride lasts about 1 hour and it worths every minute of it. This is an activity to do if you like a little bit of action.
