Visit a husky kennel and reindeer farm and learn about their habits and Lappish culture. Get to know the animals and enjoy your winter adventure. Grab your cameras and get ready for an adventure.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and take you to the reindeer farm. At reindeer safari, you will get an exclusive chance to become a certified reindeer driver! A reindeer driving license will be given to everyone, after a reindeer safari. A professional tour guide will provide you with a safety briefing, after which you will go on a 500m self-driving trip.
Our next stop is the Husky park. This park has about 100 huskies, and each year new puppies are born. Huskies are born to run, and they are happy to take you on a safari. After a safety briefing, you can sit back and glide through the snowfields of Lapland on a husky-pulled sleigh! The husky ride is 2 km long, which gives you just enough time to snap some excellent photos.

Arctic Circle Husky Park has operated next to Santa Claus Village for several decades. At the moment there are about 100 huskies in the park. And once in a while we’ll get puppies, so there is usually puppies or at least youngsters in the park. The focus of all operations in Husky Park are the dogs… Real, purebred Siberian Huskies and special attention have been paid to their well-being and natural needs. This can be seen for example in fencing placing, which is unusual in this kind of operations, and also in dog feeding.

We were met so warmly by Pedro at our hotel. He was really friendly and engaged in conversation with us. Although we had a little detour due to not going to the right place, he was genuinely apologetic and reassured us that we would be there shortly. We went to the reindeer farm and I was really impressed with the venue, but also how knowledgeable Pedro was. He wasn't just a 'driver' he really added to our experience. We unfortunately missed our slot for the huskies, but another slot was secured and we were able to have a walk around SCV whilst we waited - which fit in with us really well. Huskies were really good. Again, Pedro extremely knowledgeable and engaged in conversation with us the whole time. Both rides were short - but enough. Plus, knowing the time of the experience, didn't expect anything more. We also got to pet a husky and feed the reindeer. All in all we really enjoyed this and would definitely book with Nordic Adventures again. Thank you :-)julemd

Really well organised trip, our guide was very good. Reindeer farm was lovely, it was nice to feed them before our ride. Very relaxed and loads of opportunities for photos. Enjoyed the husky’s too, ride was brilliant but just felt a little rushed by the Husky park staff, it was a shame we didn’t ...

Enjoyed seeing the dogs though and we didn’t have to join the very long queue to enter which was a bonus. Overall great value as well, much less than our holiday agent was charging for a similar trip.luca n

Zdecydowaliśmy się na Nordic Adventures ponieważ liczyliśmy na małą grupę. I nie przeliczyliśmy się! Było kameralnie i bardzo, bardzo sympatycznie. Nasz kierowca, Pedro, to przemiły gość, który oprócz tego, co usłyszeliśmy od przewodników opowiedział nam trochę o Finlandii i husky. Zarówno pobyt ...
