We rode the train from Athens to Corinth. At the station in Corinth there is a taxi stand and information about possible tours by taxi. This was an excellent option as we were able to seen the most important sites in the region. It appears that one could customize a tour and extend it to include more sites. We were fortunate a driver was available. We would suggest that others book in advance and be sure that a tour is waiting for you.Arranged in advance for Korinthos taxis to meet us at Korinthos N station and take us first to the Corinth Canal, then to Ancient Corinth. My sister and I have just returned from Greece where we spent 10 wonderful days. Among the best experiences we had was contacting Mr Kostas from Korinthos Taxi Transfers. After reading some excellent references about the service, we considered ourselves very fortunate to have Kostas himself in charge of our private 4-hour tour. We have the best impression on him, his professionalism and knowledge of the area, so we highly recommend him. He was waiting for us at the railway station, and his car was a late model Mercedes Benz in excellent condition, so clean that it looked like it had just come out from the dealership. He is an excellent driver, and we were able to communicate well in English. He took us to all the places advertised and the timing for each stop was good, although there were minor changes we wanted to make to spend more time at a couple of places rather than others. He was very accommodating and encouraging. Besides the traditional viewing of the canal, he also took us to the very beginning which gave us great views to photograph. Kostas is very courteous and respectful, and all his suggestions were very helpful. As he took us to the different places he shared interesting information and tips for our safety, like the walk up to the castle in Acro Korinth, the museum in Ancient Korinth, some of the sites where Apostle Paul spent time with the locals sharing the Good News, the house that was built in his beloved memory, etc. We never felt pressed for time and it was an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Mr Kostas. Greece is wonderful all year round and has so much to offer. And remember, if you want to travel safely to places that are not easily accessible if you do not go by car with an expert behind the wheel, don't hesitate to choose Kostas from Korinthos Taxi Transfers. You won't regret it! Violeta
