This was a great experience! Ravish was one of my favorite guides. He was knowledgeable and very interactive. The Golden Temple was amazing and to observe the background of the Community Kitchen just made it more interesting...you could really feel the spiritual element here. The Jallianwala Bagh memorial was a beautiful tribute to the innocents. The Waugh Border was an experience that I've never had before...the patriotism with the underlying theme of peace as well as traditional dances and marches...We also got to see a old Punjab village as well as the Pul Kanjri (off the beaten track), a not well known memorial, near the border. Getting in and out of these sites were easy. I enjoyed the conversation and learning experience...Thank you, Ravish!Spent the day with Raj during our first time in Amritsar. This is a must-do day tour when you are in Amritsar aside from the golden temple and other touristic activities. My 1-day city tour was cancelled just a night before the appointment( I got refunded). I thought of exploring the city alone but the heat and the crowd held me back. Fortunately, I found a contact of a local tour operator who is @Vaneet_Pioneer from a review of this tour package. I tried to WhatsApp the guy right away that morning hopefully he still had an available slot for me to join in last minute. However, I ended up having the whole private tour with a very hospitable, knowledgeable and down-to-earth local tour guide. I had a friendly welcome and pick-up at the hotel lobby to begin the day. MJ-the tour guide was super not only showing me all the tourist sites that we had agreed to see at first but also broadening my mind with the history of the city, the horrific massacre, and so on and so forth. Would I be happy to come back for his service again?? - A massive YES. Anyway, in case you need their information for a hassle-free trip.
