What to expect
Golden Temple : Primary chief center of the Sikh pilgrimage and most spiritual shrine where everyone served equally.
South gate :We will enter through the main entrance of the temple and you will have the best view from here.
Panoramic View: You will have the chance to see the temple from the best viewpoint.
Community kitchen: You will be surprised to see India's biggest kitchen where 40, 000 people having food in a day and explore cooking halls where 5, 000 volunteers works.
2.Jallianwala bagh: The memorial park and massacre where General Dyer killed innocent people.
3.Old City - The city is was encircled by 12 historical gates and 9 feet wall. We will take you surroundings of the gates and wall to show you the witness of the 400 years old town.
4.Partition Museum: The rich collection of history during partition between India and Pakistan. Note: On Monday this museum is closed, then we will show you another monument.
5, Lunch at local restaurant then drop back to your hotel.
This tour will start at :09:00 Am and finish by 2:00pm.

Customize timings are acceptable: Just incase, if you want to start your trip later due to landing lately in Amritsar or earlier then still you can book this tour. We can manage this tour without any interruption. If you need separate driver and separate Guide then extra charges will be applicable.
Note:
Full pants are mandatory in the temple.
Half sleeves of shirt would be fine.

Any kind of handbags are not allowed at the border but you can leave in the car.

Following the excellent tour with Narinder to Wagha border we agreed for the morning city tour on the following day. Following the excellent tour with Narinder to Wagha border we agreed for the morning city tour on the following day. We met at the hotel at 10:30 and started the walking tour through the narrow streets of the old fort that currently is operating as the historical centre. Narinder showed us places that we would never date to look for, and even if we happened to try finding them, we never would. Only the local with excellent knowledge of the narrow streets can find the way to those places. Narinder also showed us the crafts and workshops, where we had the opportunity to see craftsmen at work, talk with them and marvel at their products. After the old section we moved to the Golden Temple. Here we had a comparison what you can see on your own and what only a local guide can make possible for you to see. Narinder provided very detailed information about all that he showed us. The visit at the food preparation segment and explanation how the foods for around 50000 people a day is prepared was unique as we could see the entire process from delivery of firewood to washing the dishes. After that Nariander proposed a number more places, but we did not have time for that as we were leaving Amritsar for Delhi that afternoon. At the end, Nariander also showed us the places where we could have the best lunch of traditional local food. That was an excellent experience. The guide with extensive knowledge, taking good care of the clients, showing interesting places otherwise inaccessible and all the time maintaining friendly atmosphere is a gem. My wife and I had the pleasure of having guided tours of Amritsar in February 2023. Narinder, as a native of Amritsar, was a fantastic guide. He asked us our interests and tailored our days to our interests as they intertwined the key sights of the city and surrounding area. Specifically, Narinder did a great job showing us the Golden Temple and kitchens/meal service, the other key sights in the city such as the partition museum, and on the second day we were able to see the border ceremony which was an absolute highlight. On the second day we were also able to visit the Golden Temple at night. Narinder is an absolutely great guide and we look forward to working with him again on a future visit. There are many more tours we can choose when we have more time.
