Amazing Furnas, Volcano, lakes and tea plantation
Overview
After being collected from your accommodation, begin your tour of the beautiful natural landmarks of São Miguel. Discover a region abundant with beautiful scenery, lush landscapes, and fantastic viewpoints.
Take a tour of Plantações de Chá Gorreana, the oldest tea plantations in Europe. See the only fields of tea in Europe, and whilst at the plantation, you can sample the tea for free and roam around the fields. After that, head to Furnas to explore the valley and take a dip in the hot springs to relax a bit and connect with nature.
After visiting the hot springs, stop for lunch in Furnas. Try the famous cooked mixed meats or many of the other options on the menu. After lunch, visit the lagoon and roam around a bit to enjoy the surroundings.
When the visit to the lake is finished it's time to head to Vila Franca to have a look at the world-famous islet. Finish the tour in Ponta Delgada with a visit to the pineapple plantations.

Stop At: Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana, Gorreana, Maia, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel 9625-304 Portugal
The only fields of tea in Europe. We are the only region in Europe that produces tea. You can try the tea for free and roam around the fields.

Stop At: Poca da Dona Beija, Lomba das Barracas 1, Furnas, Povoacao, Sao Miguel 9675-044 Portugal
Hot Springs where you can lay and have a relaxed time while you contemplate the nature around.
Duration: 1 hour
Pass By: Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, Parque Industrial de Vila Franca 500m Offshore, Vila Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel 9680-114 Portugal
Beautifull islet located in Vila Franca do Campo. In the summer it is possible to visit the islet to have a swim.
Stop At: Plantacao de Ananas dos Acores, Rua das Laranjeiras, Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel 9500-317 Portugal
Here you will have a tour inside the plantation and at the end you can have a drink or a quick snack at the plantation bar.

Stop At: Pico do Ferro Viewpoint, Furnas, Povoacao, Sao Miguel 9675 Portugal
Admire the whole village of Furnas from above and the whole valley with stunning views of the lake.
