It was a beautiful day that we will remember for a life time.We hired Gerry’s company for the second time to see the Amalfi Coast with our family. We requested and they provided Jose as our chauffeur, who fitted all our site seeing needs and added some more by planning the route meticulously. We started from Sorrento and drove along the coast to see Pompeii, Revello, Positano, and had fabulous lunch at Di Costentinos restaurant on the ridge overseeing the Positano town. Their Mercedes vans are spotless and rates are reasonable. They took payment in Euro at the end of our tour. Following some exhaustive investigation work on which tour to do when visiting the Amalfi Coast by cruise ship, I had no hesitation in deciding on choosing Sorrento First Choice Car Service. After excellent dealings with Gerry online and knowing that my wife and I would be doing our tour with one other couple the moment of truth would arrive once our cruise ship docked in Salerno. Sure enough, Stephanie was waiting for us at the port and once the other couple arrived, we were off. Not only was Stephanie exceptionally knowledgeable about the area but you immediately felt part of her extended family. Following a wonderful wander around Positano we set off for Amalfi and Stephanie warned it could possibly be very crowded with tourists and sure enough it was and after a brief conversation with the 2nd couple we decided to head onto Ravello for an extended stop of which Stephanie was more than happy to do for us. We were so happy we decided on not stopping at Amalfi and having the extended time in Ravello and sure enough, there was Stephanie waiting for us as we meet at the designated meeting point on time. This summer we had the chance to travel to Italy once again with another couple. They had never seen the Amalfi coast, and we had the day to explore from a cruise ship that docked at Naples. Several years ago, I used the services of Sorrento First Choice which is highly recommended on Trip Advisor (how I found them). We had an excellent day then, and for this tour several years later, I got in touch with Gerry who is still doing the tours. Gerry promptly responded to my email, quoted me his price, and we booked everything. In fact, Gerry has contacts, and he even arranged private limo drivers to pick us up at our hotel in Rome to take us to the port, and again at the end of our cruise to take us back to the airport. The day we were in Naples however, Gerry personally picked us up at the port and took the four of us on our day trip to the Amalfi coast. We had a great time on the drive down, in an extremely comfortable SUV that was air conditioned and Gerry was right on time. We had a great time in Sorrento, and then in Positano, and he arranged a spectacular lunch for us in Positano at "La Tagliata" overlooking the cliffs and the sea. Unforgettable. Gerry got us back to Naples for our departure well in time for our cruise leaving port. Gerry couldn't have been nicer, or more informative. I recommend Gerry and Sorrento First Choice very highly. Once there he was able to make sure we saw the key elements, dropped us off to explore - eat - and have fun! His knowledge of the area was key to our having a great time. He also provided us with the guidance necessary to get back on time without stressing!!Josè, our driver was absolutely phenomenal!
