We wanted to book a wine tour that was a wee bit special, so I approached Colin via the WineWeinVinoVin website, and I'm so glad I did! Myself and my wife had an absolutely brilliant tour round three beautiful medieval villages in Alsace, and three wonderful family owned wineries. Colin picked us up from and dropped us back at our hotel in Colmar, and couldn't have been a better and friendlier guide! He has a huge breadth of knowledge regarding the history of the local area, and all things wine. (I mean ALL things wine!) He even made a lunch reservation for us at a beautiful wee brasserie. If you want a truly special tour off the beaten track where you feel like a VIP, look no further than WineWeinVinoVin. Thank you Colin! We did the half day trip from Basel to Alsace and I would highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy white wines. We visited three wineries: the first was a classic, larger cellar door in a pretty little French town, the second was a very small operation with excellent sparkling wines, and the third was a very new winery with some tasty sylvaner options. All in all, it was a great tour in the Alsace region with approximately 20 to 25 types of wine available to taste. Colin was an outstanding guide!Collin provided more than just wine information.
