We got to meet a couple of the dogs first, thanks for approving our visit, Finn. Chili, I could hug and pet you all day! On to giving the Llamas and Alpaca’s some snack (which they LOVE). Then meeting the babies and the dudes. We got to walk Mr. lovey (his name says it all) then one of my favorite parts of all was cooking them off with a little shower…they literally came running and patiently waited their turn to cool off in the 90 degree weather! So much fun! Then we got a super cute souvenir to remember this gem of a place. So stop reading and book your tour!Annie is a very knowledgeable guide who shared all sorts of fun facts about the animals living on (and around) the farm! We met the guard dogs (who were very sweet), Jill (a kitty), chickens, alpacas and gophers! Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed interacting with the animals and their caregivers. This tour is super neat and it's a great learning experience! Would highly recommend visiting their farm if you're ever in the Bozeman area!!I wish I could go back and its only the next day. I wish I could go back and its only the next day. I loved visiting the Alpaca farm so much, we got to meet chickens, giant guard dogs (fluffy gentle bears), llamas, and alpacas of all ages. This farm is predator friendly, meaning you get to see rabbits and groundhogs super close to you just lounging. We learned how the llamas and dogs work together to protect the herd, and so much more about llamas and alpacas and the fleece they produce. Our tour guide Annie was so kind and knowledgeable and patient with my many, many questions. She also helped us get photos and videos of us interacting with the animals! You can tell how much every creature on this farm is loved, and treated to the best life ever. I never knew how satisfying spraying down alpacas with a hose could be (and seeing them pogo to get their bellies sprayed!), we got to interact with the llamas and alpacas in many ways. I highly recommend this tour to any animal lover! The farm was clean and the animals super happy, you are surrounded by mountains in the distance. Alpacas are adorable and so fluffy and soft! This is a welcoming environment for any family, persons or group, I wish I could go every day, what a fantastic experience. We even got a souvenir from Peru to remember the alpacas by!I came to do this after reading the positive reviews, and I am sure glad I did. Just a great overall experience. I came to do this after reading the positive reviews, and I am sure glad I did. Just a great overall experience. I have visited numerous farms in my life, but I learned how unique alpacas and llamas are. I was greeted by Jill the cat. Then I met the chickens and the Turkish Anatolian Guard Dogs which I learned are nocturnal and were having a nap. I found the resident gophers to be interesting, and there is a bald eagle nest in the rear of the neighboring property (bring binoculars). There were no kids in my tour and Annie provided over an hour long short course on alpaca husbandry from breeding to shearing to health challenges. Just a great way to spend a morning in Bozeman. I definitely recommend to all ages.An amazing opportunity to learn and interact with alpacas, as well as the guard llamas and guard dogs. An amazing opportunity to learn and interact with alpacas, as well as the guard llamas and guard dogs. My mom and I were thrilled at the chance to feed the alpacas, pet them, give them hugs, take them on a walk, and even hold a baby (we visited at the right time of year for that). We learned so much, and appreciated how welcome we felt visiting the farm. We will really treasure this memory, and highly recommend it to visitors of all ages.
