The main entrance for tourists into the Old City of Jerusalem.

Stop At: Armenian Quarter, David Street Armenian Patriarchate Road, Jerusalem Israel
The smallest of the 4 quarters of the Old City. The Armenian presence dates back to the 4th century AD, when Armenia adopted Christianity as a national religion and Armenian monks settled in Jerusalem.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: The Cardo, Jewish Quarter, Jerusalem Israel
The main street in Ancient Jerusalem under Byzantine rule, running from north to south and lined with a row of columns on each side.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Broad Wall, Jewish Quarter, Jerusalem Israel
Defensive wall in the Jewish Quarter, dated to the reign of King Hezekiah.

Stop At: Hurva Synagogue, 89 Ha-Yehudim, Jerusalem 9751909 Israel
One of the most beautiful and impressive synagogues in Jerusalem and Israel. Admire the special beauty of its interior, view the world’s tallest Holy Ark (which contains the synagogue’s Torah scrolls) and hear the fascinating story of the Hurva Synagogue. You can see history with their own eyes, and enjoy the breathtaking 360 degree view from the rooftop.

Remains of the retaining wall surrounding the Temple Mount, the site of the First and Second Temples of Jerusalem, a place of prayer and pilgrimage sacred to the Jewish people. The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall or the Kotel.

The elevated site of the two Jewish Holy Temples, and currently the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Stop At: Golden Menorah, 40 Misgav la-Dakh, Jerusalem 9751558 Israel
The menorah is described in the Bible as the seven-lamp ancient Hebrew lampstand made of pure gold and used in the tabernacle set up by Moses in the wilderness and later in the Temple in Jerusalem. This is a replacement constructed by the Temple Institute and is based on extensive research carried out by the Academic and Biblical researchers.

- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements

We had the most amazing guide, Shmuel, who showed us around the Old City and all the major sites (Churches, Synagogues and Mosques, Via Dolorosa and much much more). Shmuel was super passionate and knowledgable and a great history teller! He could answer any question we had and was excellent at in depth historic perspectives. The 6 hours flew by (and it’s impossible to do less than 6 hour, if you wanna see most of the Old City) You could easily do several days - but if you don’t have that, like we didn’t- this is the perfect tour.
