After we will visit the eerie ruins of Hyde Abbey, cemetery, and the actual resting place of England's first king.
Also see the haunted sites, and hear such grisly tales, of Winchester's High Street and Cathedral

World-famous Norman Cathedral final resting place of Kings and Queens (and Jane Austen). Sacked and nearly destroyed by Oliver Cromwell who left his ungodly mark.

The Square: venue of the country's last bloody execution. Hear tell tale the tale. And look out!

Found out so much more about Winchester and the history of Alfred the Great than you get from just wandering around the city. It was also a good thing to do on an evening - filling in the time between dinner and pub really well.
