We went to see some of the legendary Alaskan brown bears…… and were blown away. We flew out to Silver Salmon and from the start had our eyes on a mama and her yearling. Later on we got to get close and almost personal with some males. This was by far the most epic (I know this word is always overused) so I’ll call it insane (in a super righteous, would do it again) trip I’ve done. Cedar was our guide and she has more ice than the Matanuska glacier in her veins. If it wasn’t for her knowledge and passion for these majestic beast, we would not have had nearly as good as time. This will be an absolutely unforgettable trip for anyone who does this. It absolutely was for us. We will look to do the bear camping next time. Thank you Kenai Back Country Adventures and Cedar for the most righteous time! Luke and KristaThis was a good tour but we didn’t get very close to the bears which was a shame, they were very distant. Also a couple on the tour were not physically fit enough for the tour which slowed us down and reduced our chances of seeing wildlife.

Outstanding amazing experience with Kyle, Kira, and Todd! They took my family of five into the backcountry for a five day adventure that couldn’t be beat! They were well organized, well prepared, and expert in the area! Every detail was covered! We found KBA through an internet search and it was our first backcountry experience. They were perfect guides and created a tremendous experience that we will remember forever. If you are thinking of using this group-don’t hesitate! Thanks so much KBA!The experience hiking in the backcountry was great. The experience hiking in the backcountry was great. The guide (Isaac) was very knowledgeable about safety (e.g. potential bear encounters) hiking techniques and general daily hiking routes. The float plane ride to the base camp was also an exciting new experience for me. Highly recommend for those who are backcountry type hikers.

Excellent trip, loved the snow mobile part- was heavy snow but Brandon was really helpful and a great guide. The snow shoe to the ice cave was amazing. Worth the time and money. Best tour we have ever been on!
