- Note : Ajanta Caves are closed every Monday. Ellora Caves are closed every Tuesday.

I started researching a tour in Aurangabad on 3 Dec 2019. This locally owned business caught my attention, so requested information. Not only did they help with planning the trip, but also recommended a few lodging options. Mr. Patel picked me up from the train station and took me to the 7apple hotel. Somehow my reservation couldn't be found, but Mr Patel stayed until things were resolved. We started out tour early the next morning to Ajanta caves. Again Mr. Patel was prompt in picking me up. He pointed out some sites along the way and forwarned me about the road conditions. He also told me about 2 options for visiting the caves and warned me to be cautious of the touts. Just like clockwork, as soon as he told me where he would park and I exited the car, the game was on. I have never made friends so fast as in India. "Hello, my friend" was constantly heard. This review is about the tour company, not the sites visited. Mr. Patel was always where he said he'd be and when he said. That is very important when time is tight and missing a connection could throw off the remaining trip. There were a few things that didn't go perfectly such as when we made a breakfast stop when I didn't request. Had we kept on the road, I might have been able to get back to the city in time for a Zumba class I wanted to attend. I felt very safe riding with Mr. Patel which is the key factor in selecting a tour company. They are an established form and want to be recognized as the go to operator in Aurangabad.Yihong_P

I highly recommend the trip to the two cave temples. Our guide Ram was wonderful, full of knowledge and passion. One thing I would see improve is the transparency of the company. When we asked to find a money exchange and ATM, the company changed money with us at the rate 1 us dollars to 77.5 rupees, lower than if we did it at money exchange place. The company helped us find a hotel after we got there, which was good, but we found out by chance at checking out, the company charged us 2000 rupees more than the hotel charge.KB0801

The condition of the car was excellent and its cleanliness was worth mentioning. The owner of the Travels is very helpful and understands the constraints and limitations of the tourists and chalk out the tour programme accordingly best suited to all concerns. The terms and conditions are explained without any ambiguity and there is no hidden charges whatsoever. It will be unfair if I fail to mention about Mr. Santosh, the driver of the car who accompanied us during the tour. He is a very efficient driver and knows his job well. Further, he is gentle, very punctual, extremely helpful and courtious in nature. Traveling with him is highly enjoyable.
