This is where our tour begins and ends. Shute Harbour is a sheltered port in close proximity to the local islands of The Whitsundays and some of the best local coral reefs Airlie has to offer!

Bonus we saw lots of different coral and fish. Our captains were great and very informative about the area. Would definitely recommend this for families as it was very well priced. Full shade and comfortable seating. A+The Glass Bottom Boat tour was really good, very informative saw lots of fish and coral. Only annoying thing was gum chewing. Thank you very enjoyable.

This trip is advertised as a glass bottomed boat and it is a small barge type boat with 3 glass panels on the bottom. We went out on a windy day and did see some coral. The guide was very knowledgeable about coral but there was little to see - definitely no fish. We thought we were booking a boat that had views of the reef - this doesn't. The whole trip was a waste of time . The best part of the trip was the friendly bus driver to and from the quay. This trip is a farce, by far the worst one on our Australian trip. Make sure to book a " submersible boat" as the guide told us At $90AUD I would have felt I had been mugged. Avoid at all costsAwesome being able to see in the water without getting wet. Guides very friendly and informative scenery awesome. Would do it again🥰
