This tour hits the major sites outside the city while taking time to explore minor cultural nuances along the way (i.e., bamboo sticky rice, local flora, and unorthodox gas stations). This should be an aspect of any tourist's Battambang itinerary. We had the most AMAZING day today - Bun went above and beyond our expectations and was the most fantastic guide ever. We had the most AMAZING day today - Bun went above and beyond our expectations and was the most fantastic guide ever. We learnt so much and got to experience so many things that we would have probably missed out on if it weren’t for Bun. He was also super friendly and talkative - it felt like we spent the afternoon with a friend! If you could only do one thing whilst visiting Battambang, I would 100% recommend booking this tour. You won’t regret it!Bun was an amazing guide & despite a bit of rain we throughly enjoyed our afternoon out with Bun. The I've just returned from the most wonderful day of discovery and fun, a tour constructed with imagination, heart and expertise. In my opinion (I'm a cynical woman. A gushing review doesn't come often) Bun took me to see the part of Cambodia I hoped to see and to the streets and fields of his hometown. Never a dull moment, fascinating facts and anecdotes falling from him like rain. I learned about his own life, the lives of the everyday man and woman working in the fields we drove past and the lives of the people through some harrowing historic periods of the region. Bun was generous with his time, adventurous and brought us to some of the most beautiful countryside and temples not included in the itinerary. Do I recommend this tour? Emphatically yes. Is Bun a great guide? Absolutely one of the best I've hired in Cambodia in a month of touring. I think I'm going extend another day here and book the motorbike tour.. I bet its going to be brilliant.Great day out. Bun, our tour guide went above and beyond. He is a nice and friendly guy who speaks English really well. He provided us with so much interesting information about the area and the culture & history of Cambodia. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone visiting Battambang.
