What to expect
Drive 2 hr from Tamarindo or flamingo beach are to this adventures activities , We pick up at any hotel/house nearby to tamarindo and flamingo beach to drive to Tenorio river for amazing adventures rafting class 3 & 4............

This is a wonderful adventure. The roads to get there are diverse, indigenous, and rough. Organized very well. Have great breakfast options at the gathering place you are brought to before heading to the top of the river. Saw couples, corporate retreats, families, and younger millennials. I do not recommend for any children or teenagers. This is not a trip for people that are not confident swimmers as the chance of you falling out are very high. Although, it is not necessarily dangerous. There are many calm parts of the river and only a few class 4 / 5 parts. Listen to your guide and have fun. It’s that simple. Our guide was Bryan and he was by far the best guide there. Always lead the entire group of rafts, probably for a reason. They keep the rafts nicely separated so you’re not just following a trail of rafts the whole time. Let’s you get out and swim at some parts. The water was not cold even in rainy season. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR.Highly recommend this company for rafting. They went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing time. They even picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The treats afterwards were delicious and the food back at the base store was great!We had an amazing time!!My son and I wanted to experience the thrill of class lll and lV white water and they delivered. Brian was our captain and was outstanding. It’s a whole day but getting too and from is part of the experience so be prepared

I would recommend this trip for anyone who loves nature and adventure. The food was excellent. Our guide “Chewy” made the adventure exciting and you could tell he loves his job!
