Ava is a Master of Sushi making and it was lovely to share her skill. She was very patient with us, but perhaps this is for people who know a little about making sushi already. Her home is delightful and we felt very welcome.

We signed up the children in our group (ages 12-16, one boy and three girls, from two families) for the sushi roll class and they had a fantastic time. Even putting on the attire was a transformative experience for them; Aya did a wonderful job with the girls’ hair in particular. Everybody had a great time and learned something new about making sushi rolls. Overall, it was a relaxing change of pace from the sight-seeing rush. I think the photos give a good flavour for the experience. I highly recommend signing up for one of the many experiences on offer here.
