Overall, a bit dissapointed with this company. I paid a huge amount of money for the tour to visit Abu Simbel. Our guide, Mohamed , was good and explained very interested things, however, it seems he was in a hurry to finish the tour asap. There was a visitor centre next to the temple which he didnt show us. I decided to enter to have a look and he didnt even give us enough time to see the whole video where it showed the process of transferring the temple to its new location. I did other tours in Egypt with better companies but this one wasnt worth the moneyVisiting the Abu Simbel Temples was a long overdue dream for me. Visiting the Abu Simbel Temples was a long overdue dream for me. I booked a private tour and the company assigned Mohamed Saadi as my guide and Eliya as the driver. They both arrived at my hotel on time so we were able to start the journey first thing in the morning. Mohamed was very knowledgable and well mannered. He explained the history and stories of the temples clearly and answered all my questions patiently. He even prepared an album of the temples to help me understand the history. He understood my needs and made sure that we arrived at the temples as early as possible and took some nice photos of me (with no other tourists in the background). Eliya also acted professionally throughout the journey. It was a long drive for him but he did his best to make the trip as quick and comfortable as possible. I was so pleased to be accompanied by Mohamed and Eliya who made the trip a very pleasant and memorable one.Walking into the Temple is indescribable. It was a long drive, but worth twice the drive time. We went in July. I suggest staying at little longer and you'll have the place to yourself...see pic.

During our 11 day trip to Egypt we used Private Tours and were very pleased with the experience even with the additional cost. But I would not recommend a private tour from Aswan to Abu Simbel because the Egyptologist spend only minutes talking about the inside of the 2 temples. Then I learned once we arrived that the guide could not enter the temple with us. The temples were absolutely worth seeing, but take a bus as it will be much cheaper.A special excursion- all expectations exceeded…and a top guide! Mohammed was so good…knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and watchful of us, in our seventies and touring Egyptian ruins! We highly recommend him! Aswan is his home. He is a pleasure to travel with.
