You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel to visit the most resplendent Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Located in the heart of the Abu Dhabi city the Sheikh Zayed Mosque built 11 metres above sea level, and 9.5 metres above the street level so that it is clearly visible from all directions. The existence of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the clear vision of the late founder of UAE Late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan and is is also his resting home.
Various distinctive architectural efforts were put into the construction of the Sheikh Zayed mosque stands out and make it exceptional. The construction of the mosque began in 1996 and eventually opened to public in 2007. The architectural design of the mosque depicts the Islamic culture and the richness of modern architecture. Named as the third largest mosque in the world, it is decorated with Italian and Greek marble known to be the purest form of marble in the world. The mosque can take around 41, 000 worshipers at one time.

- Not wheelchair accessible
- A dress code is mandatory to enter places of worship. No shorts, no sleeveless tops, no transparent and appealing clothing are allowed. Ladies must cover their head must be covered with a scarf. A full sleeves shirt upto wrist and pants upto the feet must be worn. Hands must be covered till the wrist. You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements. No eating or smoking is allowed inside or around the mosque premises.

Our trip to Abu Dhabi was an unforgettable experience. Our guide Whisky was highly knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire trip. We saw so many things in one day, led by a highly professional tour guide and driver.

To start off: The day itself was very enjoyable and a wonderful experience – a true must if in Dubai. To start off: The day itself was very enjoyable and a wonderful experience – a true must if in Dubai. Ferrari world was a fun quick stop (would’ve like to stay longer), drive byes of the Etihad Towers and Emirates Palace but no entry as mentioned on the itinerary, and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque was absolutely beautiful. It would’ve been nice to have a bit more time in some locations. But the arrangements were a bit frustrating. I had booked through Viator (who we’ve used throughout the world in our travels over 19 years) a day trip to Abu Dhabi months before we left the U.S. The contracted company was ABC tours. I did share with them that we would be staying at the Hampton Inn near the airport to confirm whether or not they would offer to pick us up at that location. I never heard back in advance. I reached out to them numerous times before arriving in Dubai and while we were there. I finally received a call the day before and was informed that they would not pick us up but that we had to make arrangements to meet at a hotel in the City Center. The woman I spoke to said she would send me an email and text confirmation of the location and how to get there. She took all of my information and said she would send it right away. After going out for the morning and early afternoon, when we arrived back at the hotel to get ready for our evening activity I still hadn't heard from her. I emailed and called again. When she finally returned she said she lost my information...interesting that had her repeat everything back to me at least twice to make sure the numbers and spelling were correct. Then she advised me that we could take a taxi to the meeting spot or they could arrange to pick us up but it would cost an additional $20. At this point it was just easy to say we would pay the $20. It all worked out in the end but just wanted others to be aware.4TanTor59

Our guide and driver were very informative, helpful, communicative and friendly. Tour bus/ coach was comfortable and a/c worked flawlessly since it was a very hot day. Everyone on the tour was friendly and easy to get along with. We enjoyed our tour with ABC and hope to come back to Dubai and use them again.
