We did the half day Brooklyn tour with John and it was amazing! We saw lots of South Brooklyn neighbourhoods, learnt about Brooklyn, New York and American history and finished up in Williamsburg and the Brooklyn Naval yards. John was a fabulous guide who looked after us really well and our bikes were fantastic (new, light and well looked after) - couldn’t recommend this tour more highly! We've taken TWO tours with Brooklyn Giro Bicycle Tours, the Brooklyn tour and the 5 hr Manhattan tour, and both were fabulous. We've taken TWO tours with Brooklyn Giro Bicycle Tours, the Brooklyn tour and the 5 hr Manhattan tour, and both were fabulous. The bikes are high quality, groups are small, and the tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. There's no better way to see NY than on a bike, and these guys got it all handled. Highly recommend!Had a marvellous day for a bike ride. John was a great guide, I enjoyed the small group and even though Brooklyn is a big city it is well set up for cycling. Was the best way to cover a lot of ground and experience Brooklyn in a day.

Thank you very much Brian for the tour in Brooklyn. Brian did share a lot of details and information about places, history and about his experience in NY City. We had a great time there and enjoyed the chocolate and lime pie tasting! We also felt very safe all along the tour riding in the traffic or in bike lanes. I grew up and live 16 miles from Manhattan. I frequently go to the "City" and know Manhattan well. Before today, I didn't know much about Brooklyn, save for Peter Lugers and Altantic Ave's Lebanese restaurants. Our tour was outstanding. My family (my wife, a 20 yo daughter, 17 yo son and 16 yo nephew) and I learned so much. We simply had an amazing day. Finally, I have a feel for Brooklyn and its neighborhoods, whose names I knew from friends and TV shows. James was a fantastic guide. He was enthusiastic, personable and knowledgeable. My family and I recommend this tour and James extremely highly, even for those from the NYC area. And the Brooklyn pizza was a good as anything in Essex County, and that's saying something.
