You'll be picked up from where you want in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida by an English-speaking driver. You'll travel comfortably in a private Air conditioned car to Agra, and it takes about 3 hours. We'll take the scenic Yamuna Expressway, one of India's best roads. If you want to stop for restroom breaks or snacks, just tell the driver, and he'll gladly help.

Stop At: Taj Mahal, Dharmapuri, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra 282001 India
When you reach the Taj Mahal, your guide will be there. They'll give you the entry tickets, so you don't have to wait in line to buy them. They'll also take you inside the Taj Mahal and provide a tour. You can stay as long as you want. If you'd like your guide to take pictures of you at the Taj Mahal, they'll be happy to do it.

Once you're done at the Taj Mahal, your guide will take you to Agra Fort. They'll make sure you don't have to wait in line for tickets. Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. Your guide will give you a one-hour tour to discover its historical importance and impressive architecture.
You can either visit Agra Fort or Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb.

Was debating this tour since it was hot (off season) and I would be going to the airport right after, but am glad I went. Shekhar was right on time to pick me up and since it was a warm day, had plenty of cold bottled water after each stop. The ride to Agra was about 3 1/2 hours with a stop along...
Was debating this tour since it was hot (off season) and I would be going to the airport right after, but am glad I went. Shekhar was right on time to pick me up and since it was a warm day, had plenty of cold bottled water after each stop. The ride to Agra was about 3 1/2 hours with a stop along the way to grab a chai. We picked up the guide, Kashif, who shared the history of the Taj Mahal and took a bunch of photos. He clearly has a great affection for Agra and the Taj Mahal which showed in his stories. After lunch at the Marriott (typical buffet - was ok but I had better food in India). We saw the Agra fort. Again Kashif was very informed. He gave me an option of which store to visit and I chose jewelry, but the embroidery at the store was way more impressive than the jewelry and worth the trip just to see it. Shekhar delivered me back to the airport in plenty of time. Truly a memorable day!Alex1974Holstead
