We had an excellent instructor on the day. There were only 5 people in the class so individual attention was available for everyone. The studio was very clean and well maintained. For a small fee my wife was able to watch and take photos to enjoy later. Interesting Samurai traditions and customs were explained, interlaced with humour as well as all safety aspects covered. The provided uniforms added to the experience. I would recommend this experience to anyone interested in Martial Arts or the history of Samurai's and use of the Katana sword.learning how to use the sword was amazing the fan dancing, and the movements was enlightening, understanding the importance of a fan in the Samurai dress learning the dance at the end a lot of fun

Best time. Was a great experience. Did the hour and a half session, recommend the extra as you learn about the meaning of using fan in different ways then taken through moves for a traditional sword dance. The instructor did the dance and made it look so easy. There was another lady there helping, both so lovely. Be aware it does take time to dress up in the traditional costume, but that’s part of the experience. My nephew and I loved the session and highly recommend. Just sign up, you won’t regret it.This activity is fun and engaging. They give you choices of different outfits to wear which makes it a great picture opportunity. The workshop was really cool! Lots of opportunities for taking pictures and making videos, with which they helped us. Very fun experience both with the swords and the fan. Also cool they you could take some of the clothing (neckerchief and socks) with you. The dressing part was very fun and made us really feel like samurai. The only feedback is to maybe slow down the instruction part with the fan, that went quite quickly. This class was for my teenage son who loves Samurai and swords. My son loved it! And the instructor were super nice. He enjoyed it very much and it’s highly recommended if you have spare times.
