This is really an authentic local experience in Mumbai. I find this tour very interesting and enjoyable. The guide Bipin Kumar was excellent. I felt very safe going with him on the public transport around Mumbai and he explained very nicely on the sites we passed on the way.

I arrived in Mumbai in the evening and had this tour the next morning. Learning how to navigate the local transportation network is a great way to prepare yourself for the rest of the trip. Instead of relying on Uber or Ola, you’ll feel more comfortable taking trains, buses, taxis, and rickshaws for your remaining itinerary. It’s also a window into less a touristic Mumbai experience—you’ll be sitting next to commuters and observe locals in an aspect of their daily lives. During the tour you’ll get to see several of Mumbai’s popular sights as well such as Dhobi Gat, Chor Bazaar, and some of the dabbawallahs preparing to deliver lunch. This is not a good tour if you can not walk at a medium pace for 3-4 hours (including stairs) or feel uncomfortable with crowded spaces and ignoring beggars on trains, though if that describes you Mumbai is not a good city to visit in general.Great trip round Mumbai seeing many of the tourist things but using public transport along with the locals going about their business. Knowledgeable guide took us through the city as if we lived there but explaining everything as we went. The best way to see Mumbai.

The meeting place is near the Indian Gate. You can experience the charm of Mumbai by bus and city rail. Explore places that symbolize the dynamic city of Mumbai. It was impressive that the guide said, "This is Mumbai!"
