Our lead, Josh, was knowledgeable and fun. If you are looking for an adventure and want to experience nature in Florida this is highly recommended.

Excellent outdoor activity. The instructor got us off correctly with a minimum of instruction. The trip was, I think, extended somewhat into the denser forest of cypress trees and that added a lot. The instructor gave great information on flora and fauna. My only hesitation about giving this a "5" is that I thought we should go a little slower and enjoy the scenery more. This trip is suitable for a wide range of abilities though. We were in Florida on a short holiday visiting American family. We needed a break from theme park hell so decided we wanted to go kayaking. We were in Florida on a short holiday visiting American family. We needed a break from theme park hell so decided we wanted to go kayaking. The Paddling Center was close so we picked it. The best decision we made all holiday. We took the 2 hour guided tour and our guide, Josh, was fantastic, funny, informative, helpful. It was peaceful, beautiful and much more what I want to think of as Florida than tourist hell. We loved this so much that we went back a couple of days later to do so some kayaking on our own. We went in the opposite direction down the creek and it’s just as wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough.
