Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Distance: 139 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 hrs

After breakfast from your requested accommodation, you will start your safari to southwest through Masai steppe land to Tarangire National Park with picnic Lunch boxes.You will spend hours for the day game viewing in Tarangire, viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. This park boasts a high concentration of animals, including elephant, zebra, eland, and wildebeest and plenty of predators.Picnic Lunch will be served at the picnic site where you will have a nice view of Tarangire River overlooking down the valley where most of the animals will be gathering drinking from the river.

Later after extensive game drive you will drive back to Karatu at Twiga Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Distance: 50 Km
Non – game viewing time: 1 hrs

After breakfast the tour departs to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Late afternoon return to Karatu at Twiga Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park.

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Distance: 145 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro Crate

After early breakfast the tour will depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will reach there in early afternoon where you will be able to visit one of the Masai Boma to learn their culture and there daily activities.Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After an early breakfast to your lodge you will head to Ngorongoro crater. You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.
