Stop At: San Tadeo Birding, Via Calacali La Independencia Km77 5 meters from the main road, located in the San Tadeo neighborhood, Mindo 171202 Ecuador
A professional licensed guided will take to discover the nature wonders of the cloud forest. Discovering waterfalls, water cascades, endemic birds like toucans, tanagers and hummingbirds. Taste the local food, enjoy of the beautiful subtropical weather like.
To book with a professional expert is a different way of discovering and learning about people and nature. Fluent English spoken.

Stop At: El Pahuma Orchid Reserve, Quito Ecuador
A licensed naturalist guide with fluent Spanish/English spoken.
Discovering the nature wonders while hiking through easy or moderate hiking trails. Orchids, bromeliads, tree ferns, heliconias, reptiles, amphibians, trees, bioregulators, in general all the explanations from an local expert naturalist guide, his name is Richard Hernandez.

Excellent place for hiking and birding paradise.

We may stop here for lunch or any other attraction like: butterfly garden, water tubing, zip line, coffee or chocolate tour (under request):

Richard picked me up at hotel in time. His English is very good. He uses it, unfortunately, to talk about himself much more than about topics expected from an actual naturalist.

Outstanding day trip from Quito. Visited two reserves and did a waterfall hike. We saw at least 15 species of hummingbirds, 3 types of toucans, and quite a few taningers. As others have said in previous reviews, Richard was the perfect guide for our Mindo cloud forest visit. Highly recommende...

In Washington state we typically see one or two species of hummingbirds but nothing like the booted racket tail. Wow! Thanks Richard for a great day!GJ_Suzanne
