I just had previous Saturday an amazing experience - Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. We were awaited by our guide Mr. Sakir at the hotel lobbey at 5:30 AM - unfortunely he had to wait for us to be ready. We started with Taj Mahal at sunrise- it's one thing that you have to see in your lifetime. I do recommend to have a guide with you and it had to be authorized- otherwise you would miss half of the beauty of the place - ( this is compared with other friends who went there and did not have guide- now when back home I'm explaining to them what they saw there ). Out guide Mr. Sakir - was a very skilled and there was no question that we asked that he did not respond- highly educated guy , with lot's of experience and also helpful in giving advice to us overall.Shakir is an excellent guide. I went with my sons who are 8 and 5 years old. He was walking through the history very well and he also explaining to the kids in an interesting manner which has interested their curiosity as well. Recently I visited many city on my 12 days vacation. Agra was the first city in my itinerary and Mr. Shakir was my guide for visiting Taj campus. He is great conversationalist and gave some logical insights and historic gem information about Taj and campus. What I was surprised the most was with his photographic skills which he not even highlighted when I hired him.. And that become bonus for us. He took care of us like a good friend. His circle and identity is well respected in Taj campus. I got the proof on every 50 meter people greeting him with respect. In fact one of the professional photographer took some pic of us free of cost just because we were his client. If you ever visit Taj and need guide.. Don't think twice if you come across Mr.Shakir. he is value for money and gentelman surprisingly fits in budget.
