Day 2: The Reykjavik Tour in 24 hours

The Reykjavik Tour in 24 hours

Day 3: Golden Circle: This tour takes you on a day trip to see the Geysir, Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park.

You will spend your time encountering a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park, an area of historical and geological significance.

The Geysir geothermal area boasts spouting springs, including Strokkur, the most active geyser in Iceland.

At Gullfoss you are given the opportunity to stand next to the amazing waterfall, watching enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge.

Day 4: South Iceland

Stop At: Skogafoss, Skogar Iceland
Skógafoss is an iconic Icelandic waterfall, it is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail over into Þórsmörk. The waterfall was also used in filming Thor: The Dark World and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Stop At: Seljalandsfoss, Hella Iceland
Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljalandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to walk behind it.

Pass By: Vik, Vik, South Region
Vík is a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs. Population: 300

Stop At: Jokulsarlon, Jokulsarlon, East Region
Huge blocks of ice constantly break off the glacier, Breiðamerkurjökull, and large icebergs float on the lagoon. The lagoon is not very wide but it is up to 250 meters deep which makes it the deepest lake in Iceland. Breiðamerkurjökull is an outlet of the Vatnajökull glacier

Stop At: Fellsfjara, Diamond Head Drive Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon, Jokulsarlon Iceland
The Diamond Beach is a strip of black sand located by Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon.Here, the icebergs which fill Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon wash up on shore, standing dazzling and defiant in stark contrast to the black sand beach.

Day 5: Snæfellsnes National Park

Stop At: Snæfellsnes, 342, Iceland
The Snæfellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island.The area has beautiful samples of some of the natural wonders Iceland is so famous for. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible birdlife, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snæfellsjökull. This tour stops at the small fishing village of Arnarstapi and provides real insight into quintessential volcanic craters. Along the way you’ll get great views of the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and the dark cliffs and black sand of Djúpalónssandur bay are a favourite among photographers. In the middle of this beautiful peninsula sits Snæfellsjökull, the stunning glacier that has captured the imagination of people all over the world, including Jules Verne who began his "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" at Snæfellsjökull glacier. The tour offers
numerous views of this beautiful landmark.

Day 6: The Lava Tunnel & Whale Watching

Stop At: Raufarholshellir, Route 39, Olfuss Iceland
Experience the natural phenomenon of Raufarhólshellir lava tunnels as you explore it in an easy and enjoyable manner. The 1360 metre (4500 ft) tunnel was formed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred about 5200 years ago and is a unique Icelandic natural attraction. A guide will lead you through Raufarhólshellir’s colourful landscape where the formation of the tunnel is highlighted with beautiful lighting.

Stop At: Reykjavík, Iceland
The adventure continues as we head to the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavík for a Whale Watching tour with Special Tours Wildlife Adventures. Experience the wild behaviour of the whales in Faxaflói bay while looking for these phenomenal species, including minke whales, harbour porpoises, humpback whales and white-beaked dolphins.

We where close to the bus pick up. Stores, restaurants and a short walk to all in town. The tours where great we'll organize.

I went with my friend to Iceland and had an incredible time ! Blue lagoon is a must do! the scenery is unreal and it feels like i have landed into a different planet
