Bao is a great and knowledgeable guide. He speaks good english and shared great histories and stories about every site we visited. We learned a lot. Because we visited the Imperial Citadel the day before, we planned a customized route, including Thien Mu Pagoda, Khai Dinh Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb, incense village etc. and extended to Tu Hieu Pagoda and Tu Duc Tomb. It is very easy to work with Bao to customize your own trip. The trip was supposed to last ~5 hours. At the end, we extended it to cover Tu Hieu Pagoda and Tu Duc Tomb. We were very happy about using Bao’s private service, especially it was a raining day. Schedule is flexible and one can take time in exploring. Price is also reasonable. 115k Vdn for 8 hours with a private car (two people), I would say it is actually cheap. At the end of the trip, Bao drove us around the city before driving us back to our hotel. We even considered Bao’s service for next day from Hue to Hoi An to explore along the way. Unfortunately we cannot cancel the bus ticket and we want to arrive at Hoi An early for other matters, we decide to hold on till next time. Overall, a great experience and a lot of fun. We highly recommend Bao!It happend that we hired this service, not expecting such a knowledgable and good english speaking driver! The guide was really nice and shared a lot of information. He drove very carefully and we felt very safe. Nice, spacious and clean car. If you are in Hue, this is a must do.
