For certified divers, West Bay Divers in Roatan can offer you your very own personal diving leader, or your personal PADI scuba instructor in your continuing scuba diving education. West Bay Divers offers PADI certified recreational scuba diving courses ranging from Scuba Diver to Master Diver.

What to expect
Scuba dive on the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest reef in the world. Must have certification of any recognized dive organization to participate in this special. Each dive is approximately 1.5 hours.

The location is a few steps to the beach and right next to one of the coolest beach bars on the island. In the end, like most things, the success of an experience comes down to the people involved. Everyone was amazing Robert & Wayne in the office, Dive masters Ava & Bastaain, Captain Hazel! Will definitely recommend West Bay Divers to all.This was my second time diving with West Bay Divers. I appreciated that they were very professional, personable and conscientious regarding safety. They have great equipment which is important to us since we don't our own BCD or regulator. They set up, rinse and store everything for entire week....
This was my second time diving with West Bay Divers. I appreciated that they were very professional, personable and conscientious regarding safety. They have great equipment which is important to us since we don't our own BCD or regulator. They set up, rinse and store everything for entire week. They even picked us up at the dock of our resort every morning. We also loved the nice boats the shop has. The staff we had during our dives was great, Especially Joel our dive master and Hazel, the boat captain (he plays great music!) We had Joel as our dive master for all of our dives last year and we requested him again this year. He is so much fun to dive with! You can tell he really loves his job. I also liked that he is always keeping a close eye all the divers in the group and we never felt rushed. They take out small groups which is something I look for when choosing a dive center. I was really nervous to do my first night dive last year but Joel stayed close to me during the dive and coached me through it. This year he encouraged my sister and me to take the lionfish hunting course and it was a lot of fun. Next year I plan to do the advanced diver course. The dive sites were beautiful and no long boat rides. I highly recommend West Bay Divers and will definitely request Joel again when we return next year.Megan and all the crew were absolutely fantastic! Helpful and patient with me were divers and her enthusiasm is contagious. Highly recommend West Bay Divers!
