4 hour Winter Adventure Includes Snowshoe Trip and Visiting the Ice Hotel
Overview
Join us on a snowshoe trip and experience the Arctic nature on foot. Meet your guide at our Explorer store in the center, we dress you in the right clothes and equip you with a pair of snowshoes. From here we take a 30min drive in our new environmentally friendly electric van through the beautiful nature around Alta until we get to our final destination Gargia Lodge, our outpost in a valley south of Alta.
When we arrive Gargia we will get our gear on and have a nice 45-60 min walk in beautiful nature, surrounded by pine- and birch forest in the beautiful Gargia Valley.
After our walk we will come back to the Lodge, where we will sit around the fireplace and have a coffee and traditional Norwegian waffle cake, while our guide will tell you stories about the local culture and the area around Alta.
On the return to Alta we will make a stop to visit the famous ice hotel Sorrisniva, with its beautiful ice art and sculptures. A bucket list experience, which is great for taking photos.

Snowshoeing with Aeventyr was a beautiful adventure in a winter wonderland. I was the only guest on the trip (the others had cancelled) and Aeventyr still ran the trip for me, which I appreciated very much. My guide, Hans-Petter, was not just an excellent guide but also an interesting conversation partner. It was a perfect, sparkling day of blue skies and deep powdery snow--a beautiful trek through pristine forest in pleasant company. Following that was a fun stop at the ice hotel. My tour with Aeventyr was the highlight of my trip to Norway. A day I'll remember forever.Tim W

Wir wurden als Gäste des Kreuzfahrtschiffes im Hafen abgeholt. Ein kurzer Anruf vorab war sehr freundlich. Der Guide war spitze. Wir waren als Paar die einzigen Gäste. Die Schneeschuhwanderung war entspannt durch den Wald und extrem ruhige Natur. Man kann selber entscheiden, wie lang die Strecke ...

Die Schneeschuhwanderung war entspannt durch den Wald und extrem ruhige Natur. Man kann selber entscheiden, wie lang die Strecke sein soll. Im Anschluss gab es Kaffee/Tee und Schokolade aus Alta als Belohnung. Ein kurzer Besuch im Eishotel war sehenswert. Insgesamt können wir die Tour unbedingt weiter empfehlen. Alle waren sehr freundlich und haben uns viel erklärt. Die Natur ist bezaubernd und noch sehr ursprünglich.
