One of the best boat experiences I’ve had. We came in without a reservation, hoping they still had a boat left for the day. JP immediately got us ready to get into the boat so that we wouldn’t waste time. The boat has a nostalgic feeling and takes you back to a Venice that doesn’t exist anymore. I felt like Thomas Mann and Ernest Hemingway, driving the boat through the lagoon of Venice and ending the day at Harry’s bar. Those days are gone but this boat still remains. Oh, and thanks for the bottle JP.We spent a really nice time! Victoria, Jean Paul and the rest of the team were very welcoming and nice. In case of emergency they were really helpful. We had the best captain guide ever, Thanks again Giovanni. Beautiful landscapes, very quiet and peaceful journey. We recommend for sure!!!

We have been to Venice several times so were looking for something different. We hired a beautiful wooden boat and had a wonderful time. The electric engine meant that it was quiet and there were no horrid fumes. We are not hugely experienced at driving a boat and are both well over 50, so there were occasions when the other traffic seemed rather larger and faster than we were but it was exhilarating nonetheless! Seeing the outlying islands, some of which are uninhabited, from the water was magical as was seeing some birdlife in the marshes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their environmental ethos and enthusiasm for their boats and what they do was infectious! We would thoroughly recommend this as an alternative thing to do in Venice. Thanks JP and other staff. The best day we had in Venice!! Beginning with our discovery of Certosa, the boating island of Venice, our swim in the lagoon and visit of Burano. Highly recommend it.

We love Venice and stumbled across this on the internet looking for our next adventure after having been kayaking there twice before. This surpassed our expectations - we were given a lovely boat with a canopy which was both elegant and provided shade. The electric engine was very quiet and the absence of diesel fumes contributed to the idyllic experience. It was easy to drive and navigate but some previous boat experience helps. You could easily be six on the boat, bring a picnic and chill whilst watching overcrowded sightseeing boats go past. We were out for 4 hours, but would recommend a full day if you want to make more than one stop or have lunch onshore. JP and the team were very friendly, knowlegdeable and have a great ethos of preserving Venice and the environment. We will definitely be back!
