What to expect
Itinerary
Become an adventurer as you follow the tracks of your local naturalist guide through rolling hills and snow covered forested groves at the base of the Grand Teton Mountain Range.
Our half day (4hr) guided snowshoeing tour will give you a taste of the beauty and uniqueness that backcountry travel offers. Your guide will design the tour around your group’s interests and desires, creating a customized and unparalleled experience. We will provide all of the necessary snowshoeing equipment. Throughout the program your guide will present your group with a variety of high quality snacks to enjoy during your stops. As we explore the park’s backcountry, we’ll keep watch for animal signs, interpreting tracks and unique habitats. Your knowledgeable guide will share interesting facts about snow science and winter ecology to complete your experience. No previous experience is necessary to enjoy a day on snowshoes. We like to say “If you can walk, you can snowshoe”. These programs are offered as small groups with a maximum of 7 participants.

- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
Ticket delivery
You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
Cancellation
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.

Seth was a great guide for our group’s first time snowshoeing - extremely knowledgeable about the park and area, and was a lot of fun to hang out with for a few hours. The whole experience was great - clean vehicle with cool hatches to look out of, good snacks and modern equipment. Thanks Seth!

My tour was phenomenal because the excellent customer service started from the moment i made the slightly distressed call that I wouldnt make it and ended with Seth, our tour guide. My tour was phenomenal because the excellent customer service started from the moment i made the slightly distressed call that I wouldnt make it and ended with Seth, our tour guide. I was scheduled originally for the full day Snowshoe and wildlife tour, but they closed the Teton Pass and I was unable to make it to my tour in time. I called the office and spoke to Chris, the manager of EcoTours and he helped me rebook a half day tour later that day and even helped give me another route so I could make it there. Chris even called me about 1.5 hrs later to check up and see if i made it to the area. I really appreciated the extra mile he took to ensure I was satisfied. Then my tour guide Seth was so knowledgeable about the winter ecology and history of the Teton National Park and beyond and made sure to pay attention to the needs of our group. He was pleasant and even challenged us a bit after checking to make sure we were ok with it. It was an overall phenomenal experience and I would recommend Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures if you want an amazing and unforgettable experience. This will definitely not be my only time booking with them.erica w
