The cruise was the best experience of Egypt. The main reason was Sabry, our guide who made the experience memorable. He was a very knowledgeable egyptologist, creating great vibes in the group and making us immerse in the pharaonic ancient stories. His language skills (in our case Spanish) were very proficient which made the experience more enjoyable. I would highly recommend doing this cruise, specially with Sabry. Our tour guide Mostafa was nice and professional. Additionally, Heda (Egypt Gift Tours) was extremely efficient and helpful.

Overall the trip was very good. Ismail was a fantastic guide, incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and able to assist on all tour-related matters and even personal logistics. Heba was very helpful with support. Be prepared for a busy schedule with early start days, 4-5am starts most days. The activities are all fun, but if you are looking for a trip where you spend more time sitting on the boat in the sun as you float down the Nile, there is really only one long window (>1-2 hours) for that in this trip. You will also be sharing the boat with many other tours of different nationalities, and you will also be traveling at the same time as many other cruise boats so be prepared to share the boat and tour sites. That said, Ismail does a great job of navigating these things and finding you unique experiences in between. The boat staff are friendly and helpful. The food is decent but we definitely enjoyed the food more when we stopped at local restaurants. Overall a very good experience for the price.
