We had an amazing time in Jordan! The Jordanians have been some of the nicest and most welcoming people out of all the countries we have visited. Our driver Ahmed habibi was an excellent guide, giving us the best tips and making sure my 6 yr old son and I were well taken care of! We always felt we were in the best of hands with him. Having him as our guide, along with the hospitality we experienced everywhere we went, and the incredible sites we saw, made our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to visit again with the rest of our family. This trip was programed for May 2020, due to covid 19 everything has to be cancelled. This trip was programed for May 2020, due to covid 19 everything has to be cancelled. At that time, JPTT, were very accomodating and reimburse us the deposit. When we began to reschedule the trip they help and answer all our questions that were a lot because of the safety issues. A week before arrival Jordan government establish a New curfew that disrupts the tour. Again, JPTT rise to the situation and help us plan a new itinerary that covered all thst we want to visit in less time. And then we arrive to Amman and from the moment, Mustafa, our guide/driver pick us at the everything was perfect. Mustafa is a very knowledgable and easy going person. He tries to indulge every wish you have. I recommend JPTT and Mustafa 💯We went here, there and everywhere with Khaled who looked after us superbly! We went here, there and everywhere with Khaled who looked after us superbly! We covered so much ground it was great..... and in no particular order listed are some of the places we went to: Little Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Karak Castle, Khazali, Jarash, Adjlun Castle, Mount Nebo, the Citadel, the Roman Theatre, & the Dead Sea. Khaled was great & picked us up from our hotel when we requested and advised at each stop how long we would need and not to have guides at certain sites but just to go with the flow. On occasion hubby and I whizzed round many a site saving time to be spent at other sites! I don’t think Khaled could believe how quickly we got round some of these sites! Make sure you go to Little Petra (siq al-Barid Bayden) before hitting Petra. Little Petra will blow you away and prepare you for the mother of all visual experiences in Petra! And make sure you allow yourself at least 3 hours to get round stunningly breathtaking Jarash. Our time spent in Amman was truly memorable and we thank Khaled for looking after so well.We selected the four day tour that took us to Amman, the baptism site, Nebo, Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum and Dead Sea . We selected the four day tour that took us to Amman, the baptism site, Nebo, Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum and Dead Sea . Our driver Mr. Khaled was extremely knowledgeable and very kind. Each day was adventure packed starting in the morning when Mr. Khaled picked us up at our hotel. He would provide us with facts and information about everything along our path to our destinations. Additionally, once we arrived he would tell us all the shortcuts to avoid any crowds or scams. He provided us water in the car as well as free internet, which was huge in this connected age. Things to consider: Jordan pass - if you are eligible to purchase this, I would highly recommend it. It covers the cost of your visa and about 85% of the sites we visited. Again, add the baptism site if it’s on your itinerary to save some money. Each of the sites should stamp your pass making for a great souvenir afterwards. Find out what hotel you’re being put up in and book the night before they pick you up at the same hotel if it’s available - this made things so much easier for luggage, breakfast, etc. Use Uber when you need it, totally cheap, totally easy. Pack warm clothes and towels for the campsite as well as a flashlight if you plan to wander from camp at night. Some public wash closets require payment for use, carry coins and small bills.
