What to expect
On our 3 hour semi private swimming with the manatee tours. We put a maximum of 6 guests to insure an intimate and educational experience. We embark our tour from Petes pier marina located in the heart of kings bay where the manatees can be located anywhere in our 600 acre bay. Once we find the manatees we then exit the boat and snorkel with the manatee. Our experienced guides lead the guests in the water throughout the entire at that time time they are taking photos and videos. All of our photos and small videos taken on the trip are included.

This is a true wild life experience and we do not guarantee perfect conditions. As a small owner operated tour company we believe in transparency with our guests. A lot of tour companies advertise Crystal clear water and picture perfect attractions. During manatee season those are the most likely times to see manatees in or near the springs. Where the water is clearer.
During spring, summer and fall. The manatees will be eating on our grass flats where visibility can very between 1 to 6ft. There is residential population of manatees that live in our bay year round. So you can still see manatees in the off season.

Some boats were packed with people, which to me would have diluted the experience. We had just 5 and it was wonderful. I would definitely do this again, and would only go with Pete!Overall really happy with the experience. The photos we received were awesome. They took a ton of videos and pictures of the manatees for us and sent digitalis of all of them. I brought my own go pro but the ones they took were way better. I brought my own go pro but the ones they took were way better. Really worth it having the photos included. You can see photos similar to what you’ll get on their Instagram. Peter and Lindsay were great tour guides, had lots of information about the manatees, the history of the springs, and the surrounding town. They were very accommodating and responsive to our requests and questions. One really great thing about this tour is you go right to the doc and get on the boat at the start. Some of the other places have a movie, info session, and drive to the site for the first hour. We were in the water with the manatees for almost 2.5 hours and the rest of the time was on the boat. The limit of 6 people was nice as well, gave you plenty of space to swim around the manatees.Amazing experience seeing manatees in the wild and learning about them. Great tour guides and amazing pictures and videos!
