We really recommend taking the 3-hour-trip. Villefranche-sur-mer ist a must-have-seen. The trip back over the hill is awsome. Very friendly and competent guide, letting us the time to have little walks and take nice pictures.

The best way to explore
We have been going to Nice and surrounding areas a few times now BUT one of the best things to do was this. Segway from NICE to VILLEFRANCHE sur MER. Especially with the tour company whom this was presented by. Tibo, our guide was perfect for our tour. Very knowledgeable and patient. First timers...
We have been going to Nice and surrounding areas a few times now BUT one of the best things to do was this. Segway from NICE to VILLEFRANCHE sur MER. Especially with the tour company whom this was presented by. Tibo, our guide was perfect for our tour. Very knowledgeable and patient. First timers as we were with different learning ranges didn't phase him. He tailored the way he taught us and within minutes we were off. Considering a 3 hours tour the smaller the group the better. Very intimate and tailored trip. More than 5 and the ones at the back would not have heard him. Also more people for him to look after. Defiantly booking another trip again.
