3 Hour Horse Riding Adventure around the Petra Area

This is really an exciting adventure! Saddle up an Arabian horse and enjoy trotting along ancient trails, gazing at Jordan's beautiful landscape, and meeting the local culture. This experience will for sure create memories and inspire you for a lifetime!

What to expect
Itinerary
Our guide will meet you at your hotel or camp in Wadi Musa (Petra) then transfer you to Little Petra to meet the horses. Then, we will start the 3 hour horse riding adventure exploring the back country with its old houses and amazing mountain landscapes. Ride from the beautiful area of Kharoubat Al Fajjah to Siq Ghrab, the Neolithic village, and Siq Al Barid. We will also stop along the way for a light lunch in the mountains, and after meet with the local Bedouin, have tea with them and then ride off into the sunset. After, we will transfer you back to your hotel or camp in Wadi Musa.

The wadi rum experience was amazing and Petra is a truly magical place, but what made the whole trip so incredible was our guide Sami. He is a living legend in Jordan and the most amazing person I have ever met. Every single person in Petra knows him, he knows more history than anyone in the area, and he is the nicest person in the world. To this day I have been in touch with Sami and I am honored to consider him a good friend. The company and logistics were equally top notch, everything was easy and fun. I cried when I left because leaving such a special place and special person was so difficult, but I was so grateful and full of love that I know I will return.
