You can choose to self-drive to the departure point or be transported to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and then near the base of the Hoover Dam to board your raft for a smooth water trip through the Black Canyon. Stop At: Boulder City, Boulder City, Nevada
Your tour will begin with either hotel pick-up from select hotels in Las Vegas or upon meeting the tour group in Boulder City. The historic town of Boulder City was built to house the workers of the Hoover Dam back in the 1930’s.

Stop At: Lake Mead National Recreation Area, 10 Lakeshore Rd, NV 89005
When the Hoover Dam was built, this created Lake Mead, now the largest man-made lake in the United States.
Duration: 15 minutes
Pass By: Hoover Dam Access Road, Boulder City, NV 89109
You will travel down the Lower Portal Road, the original road used by the construction workers of the Hoover Dam to board your raft. You’ll enjoy 3-hours exploring 12-miles of history, beauty and wonder as you glide through the Black Canyon National Water Trail. Experience the waterfalls, hot springs and other geological wonders. This trip is fully narrated by knowledgeable guides who offer incredible history of the Hoover Dam and the Back Canyon National Water trail.
Stop At: Willow Beach, Willow Beach, Arizona
A refreshing stop along the way at a side beach will give you the opportunity to stretch your legs, swim or play in the cool clear water of the Colorado River. Lunch is included in a take-home, insulated souvenir bag.

Your tour will end at Willow Beach Marina in the scenic Mohave desert of Arizona, where you will board your shuttle back to the starting point. Don't forget your camera!

Fantastic activity from pick up at hotel to drop off. Tour guide Russ knowledgeable and brought the history of the building of the dam and the river too life. Managed a short dip in the river at lunch stop ( lovely basil chicken wrap with fruit and water in individual cooler bags you get to keep)...

Beautiful trip down the river with abundance of wildlife along the way. You will get wet but cools you down. Highly recommended much better then sitting on a coach tour.Krystal B

What a great experience! Absolutely beautiful views! Gianni our captain was very informative and funny! He also let the kids take a turn driving the boat, and showed my 13 year old rock hound where to find cool rocks.

Best money I've spent in Vegas. Truly a wonderful adventure. I sat in front and let my feet get wet. Pack some sunscreen, maybe a hat. Our tour guide was excellent.
