What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Game Reserve
Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
Set off the safari from your hotel/residence in Nairobi at 7:30 am heading down to the great rift valley (quick stop here for a nice view of the escarpment). Another stop will be at Narok town where you can grab any personal valuables you might need are refueling of the vehicle. You will make it to Masai Mara in good time to have lunch at the camp while you relax from the lengthy drive. Following lunch you can indulge in the various activities available at the camp; including guided nature walk, Masai Village visit or a 2-hour game drive in the park to see all the Big Five Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful game reserve.
NB: Due to limited time for a game drive on this day, it can be bypassed and extended on the last day to make it 4 - 5 hrs depending on your next destination – this is by cause of new park entry fee regulations of per entry and 12 hrs, 6:00am to 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Game Reserve
Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
After breakfast spend full day game drives, explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game is here. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve packed lunch is serve inside the park around the Masai Mara river crossing point, the migration site. Return to your tented camp for dinner and overnight.

An early morning game drive in Masai Mara game reserve followed by late morning breakfast at the camp and a departure to Nairobi stopping sporadically for the breathtaking panoramic views of the rift valley and adjacent landforms. The tour ends in Nairobi late in the afternoon with sweet memories.
Duration: 8 hours

Accommodation included: Accommodation on your own, the tour ends in Nairobi approx. 3:00pm

We recently embarked on this safari trip that exceeded all expectations. Our super knowledgeable guide, George, promptly picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi and led us to the Masai Mara. The first day in the park was enchanting, with many animals and a delightful African lunch. Our tent accommodation was exactly as advertised, comfortable and authentic, although don’t expect luxury bathroom facilities – they were functional and fit the adventurous spirit. The culinary offerings were splendid, and the service was commendable. On our second day, an early morning expedition rewarded us with sights of a leopard and several cheetahs. George’s expertise shone, and he even surprised us with a scenic picnic. The cherry on top was a balloon ride on our last day, an experience we urge everyone to try. George managed to show us all possible wildlife from very close proximity (cheetahs, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, zebra’s, hippopotamus, crocodiles and many more). He is super knowledgeable, shares many interesting insights about the wildlife, nature and culture. We had a lot of fun throughout our trip. He has excellent driving skills, we always felt very safe. The accommodation and food were nice as well. Not necessarily luxurious but it has all you need and is comfortable. This is my first review as I must share this amazing experience, with the equally fantastic George. From the second we arrived nothing was too small and George catered to our every need. We had such a tailored experience thanks to his incredible knowledge and intimate experiences of the Maasai Mara so we had all the prime spots to see the aninals we really wanted to see, including a fight between hyenas and vultures. George's 18 years experience are a testament to how much in good hands you are. I cannot recommend him enough and you must absolutely pick him if you are looking for a perfect safari experience. he is fantastic with children so no matter what age range you go with. We had the most magical time of our lives here- and I can not possibly express how grateful I am. We had George as a tour guide, who not only engaged and enthralled us throughout with his knowledge, but was more an interpreter for nature; translating the language of the land and immersing us in this incredible World.
