What to expect
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi ,After the pick up you will start your drive towards Mikumi national Park.
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
After 300km drive with few breaks on the way for toilet and stretching, you will reach the main gate of Mikumi National Park for half day or Evening game drive depending on traffic on the way.
Duration: 5 hours
Meals included:
• Lunch: Once you reach the gate a pre-ordered hot lunch will be waiting for you inside the National park.
• Dinner: Before check in to your hotel where you will spend a night ,you will order your dinner.
Accommodation included: Overnight at Tan-swiss hotel
Day 2: Full Day game drive - Mikumi National Park
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
Once you Reach the gate you will start your full game drive right way with Lunch hot break around 1230 inside the park
on your game drive keep your eyes open and ready to spot animals like
Antelopes, Crocodiles, Elephants ,Gazelles ,Giraffes, Hippos.Leopards, Lions, Zebras and more than 500 bird species.
Duration: 12 hours
Meals included:
• Lunch: Your Lunch will be served with a view of National Park
• Dinner: Dinner will be served at your Hotel
Accommodation included: Overnight at Tan-swiss hotel
Day 3: Mikumi to Dar es Salaam
Pass By: Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
After an Early breakfast or packed breakfast you will start driving back to Dar es Salaam with a stop or two for short breaks ,Once you reach Dar es Salaam ,Drivers will take you to your Hotel/ferry port/Airport and finish your tour

Edward and Francis, thank you a lot for a great experience, the safari was beautiful and Francis was the best guide ☺️ We saw a lot of wild animals: lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, baboons and a lot of birds. I was fortunate enough to be visiting Tanzania as part of my university placement, so wanted to experience an African safari while I was in this beautiful area of the world. I contacted Busungu Tours and they could not be more accommodating. They were extremely good at communicating with me in the build up to the safari, so I felt at ease knowing the full itinerary for the weekend. The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming, making sure the experience was as stress-free as possible. The safari was an experience I will NEVER forget, mainly due to the drivers who went above and beyond to make sure you were able to witness some of the breathtaking wildlife Mikumi has to offer. The hotel and food was of the highest standard, so I felt well rested and energised despite the early starts for the game drives. Overall, I could not recommend Busungu Tours and Safaris enough, and urge anyone travelling to Tanzania to arrange your tour through them. :-)
