Itinerary

Day 1: Puerto Iguazu Airport/ Puerto Iguazu

Stop At: Camino Anexo Ruta Provincial 101, N3370, Misiones, Argentina
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport or bus station and be provided with a private transfer to your hotel.

Welcome to Iguazu! This little town is the gate to visit the impressive Iguazu Falls, which have been recently declared as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders, making them a must-see destination for any traveller visiting Argentina. You’ll have the rest of the day free to do as you wish; take your time to relax at your hotel, or if you’re eager to explore, you can visit the “Three Frontiers Landmark” or the “Güirá Oga“, a sanctuary for animals hurt by illegal hunting and trapping (not included).

Day 2: Puerto Iguazu - Full-Day Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side

Stop At: Parque Nacional Iguazu, Ruta 101 Km 142, Puerto Iguazu 3370 Argentina
After breakfast, our driver and bilingual guide will pick you up at your lodging to enjoy a full-day tour (private service) to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. He/She will show you the hidden gems of this unique National Park and the best views (entrance fee included).
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Garganta del Diablo, Iguazu National Park, Puerto Iguazu Argentina
At the park, an ecological train ride (shared transport) will take you to the impressive Devil’s Throat, the most important of all 275 waterfalls that comprise the Iguazu falls system.
** In case there are many people in the train to the ‘Devil’s Throat’, you will try to go first to less crowded places.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Iguazu Falls, Iguazu National Park 3370 Argentina
After touring “Garganta del Diablo” (Devil’s Throat), you will continue to explore the walkways of the lower and the upper circuit. Both of them are sure to impress you: The LOWER CIRCUIT, feature a more intimate experience with nature as you walk right into the forest to the heart of the falls, you will be able to feel the “spirit” of the jungle; its humidity, sounds and aromas. The UPPER CIRCUIT provides magnificent panoramic views from the top of the falls. This circuit is the perfect place to kick back and relax with the sound of water in the background and sunlight on your skin. The elevated walkways will take you over the drop line of several of the main jumps. You will have some free time to eat lunch in this amazing environment (not included). After enjoying unique views of the falls, we will drive you back to your hotel in the afternoon.
**OPTIONAL: We highly recommend upgrading this excursion to include a shared boat tour experience.

Day 3: Puerto Iguazu - Half-Day Iguazu National Park: Brazilian Side

Stop At: Parque Nacional do Iguacu, Rodovia Br-469 Km 1-8, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85853-830 Brazil
After breakfast, we will pick you up at your lodging to enjoy a half-day tour (private service) to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. While Argentina has 80% of the falls on its side, Brazil has the best panoramic view. As you reach customs, you will go through the immigration process before heading to your next destination. Don't forget your passport! (entrance fee included).

**Time spent at the international border can vary from half an hour to some hours, depending on the number of people, season, etc.

Stop At: Iguazu Falls, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85855-750 Brazil
Be prepared to enter this amazing park and board a bus (shared transport) that will take you to the viewing walkways. Following up, you’ll begin to tour the half-mile viewing walkway that provides spectacular panoramic views of the front of the falls. At the end of the circuit, you will approach Floriano Fall and get sprayed by its heavy mist. A day you will never forget!
**OPTIONAL: Upgrading this excursion to include a boat tour experience is recommended. The boat tour allows you to get a close-up view of the falls. To add this in advance, please write it down in the 'Special Requirements' box (while booking) and we’ll quote it for you. Please keep in mind that to fit this in your itinerary, your flight should depart at 7:30 p.m. or later.

Stop At: Cataratas of Iguazu International Airport, Camino Anexo Ruta Provincial 101, N3370, Misiones, Argentina
After touring the park, a private transfer will take you to the airport or bus station.

**INTERNATIONAL BORDER: Please make sure you meet Brazil's entry and travel requirements before going on this tour. It is the traveller's responsibility to have all their necessary travel documents to tour the Brazilian side of the falls.
**NOTES: Our itinerary is pretty flexible, so if you want to add extra nights/tours to the itinerary, we can quote it for you. Just make sure to let us know in advance using the ‘Special Requirements’ box while booking.

**IMPORTANT: In order to visit the Brazilian side of the falls, we highly reccommend you booking a departure flight leaving from Puerto Iguazu at 6:00 p.m. or later.

Excellent tour guide. Melvia was very accomodating and easy to talk to. She took into account limitations of some people in our family and kept the pace so that it worked for everyone. Only downside was that we had a too small vehicle on a couple of our drives; but large enough on others.
