What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Friedrichshain, Berlin Germany
With your group of up to 12 participants. You will first meet at Salami Social Club in the Friedrichshain district. You will then be guided around this fascinating neighborhood in the capable hands of your local guide. During the tour you will sample at least three local craft beers (depending on location), hand-picked by your guide at three unique locations. Along the way, your guide will tell the stories and history of craft beer and the craft beer scene in Berlin, as well as local stories you will only hear from a real Berliner. You'll get an intimate look into this new and growing niche movement. By the end of this 3.5-hour tour, you will not only have the ability to identify different styles of craft beer, you will have gained an appreciation for the culture of Berlin as a whole. Each tour ends at a different location, depending on which bars and areas of the city your guide takes you.

I greatly enjoyed the Craft Beer Tour with Cliff. It was fun to be in a non-touristy neighborhood and the beer was very tasty! As others have written, Cliff is a passionate wealth of knowledge about beer - its history and its cultural and historical relevance. He explained the difference between beer and craft beer, the challenges for craft beer brewers today, taught us how to do a beer tasting, and also taught us the process of brewing at home (to name a few).
