What to expect
The dives vary from shallow, deep, drifts, wreck, channel, walls and labyrinth around the Island, Quebrada and the Bay of Acapulco. Depending on your experience and your certification level, the staff will help you find the best place to dive. Discover local marine life like eagle rays, puffer fishes, blennies, octopus, flutefish, boxfish, seahorses, morays and during December - February some Humpback whales.
Diving certification is required for this tour.

We were a group of 5 from Canada and US, 4 of us open water students and I was just fun diving. the 4 students got their certs in with big smiles while I enjoyed beautiful warm waters diving with giant rays, turtles, eels, And hey people, Acapulco isn't anymore unsafe than anywhere else. Do not listen to the nonsense in the English speaking media and government websites. We really enjoyed our stay and diving and the beach in Acapulco and will do it again., and plenty of fish (not the dating app). I also received great help to get a battery for my dive computer at cost price.We had a great time diving with Swiss Divers; they were very friendly and took us around the local island of La Roquetta. We saw lots of sea life; such as sea horses, starfish, and even a sea turtle. Would definitely go back with them!

I've just returned from a few days in Acapulco and went on a half day diving trip with SDA - It was excellent. Aside from being easy to book, the staff were professional and knowledgeable from the moment I arrived until I was back on land - But not only that, the guys were a lot of fun too. The diving itself was really interesting and we saw a wide range of marine life as well as learning some interesting facts about the surrounding sites. If you are looking to go diving diving whilst in Acapulco (which I really do recommend), I would certainly choose SDA. We had incredible visibility, plus Acapulco’s calm, warm water so it was an easy, enjoyable dive with lots to see from seahorses to turtles and plenty of fish banks! Very often also nudibranchs, crabs and we have been lucky with turtles. SDA has taken us to amazing dive sites.
